A pair of very large modern studio pottery glazed ceramic vessels, comprising a lidded jar and a pitcher. Both pieces are adorned with a hand-painted decoration in a palette of greens, white, and earthy tones, depicting wading birds amidst tall reeds or grasses, suggesting a naturalistic wetland motif. The lidded jar features a stylized foliate handle on its lid, while the pitcher is equipped with a handle and pouring spout. Impressed markings ‘201’ and ‘238-A’ are visible on the base of one item.
