A collection of 20 hardcover comic books from the popular ‘Asterix’ series, created by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo. Predominantly in English, the collection includes titles such as ‘Asterix the Legionary, ‘ ‘Asterix in Britain, ‘ ‘Asterix and Cleopatra, ‘ and ‘Asterix and the Goths.’ One volume is a German edition titled ‘Asterix UND Obelix DIE ODYSSEE’ (Asterix AND Obelix THE ODYSSEE), published by Thapa Verlag Stuttgart, which also specifies ‘TEXT UND ZEICHNUNGEN VON UDERZO’ (Text and drawings by Uderzo). The books feature colorful illustrations in the distinctive ligne claire style, printed on paper with hardboard covers, many bearing the ‘Dargaud’ publisher mark. The collection appears to be from the mid-to-late 20th century.
