A boxed set of men’s formal wear accessories by Deakin & Francis and retailed through C. Collins & Sons Limited, Royal Tunbridge Wells, comprising a pair of chain-link Oxford cufflinks and four matching shirt studs. The jewellery pieces are fashioned from silver with the 925 mark clearly visible on the reverse of the cufflinks. The cufflinks feature oval faces, and the studs feature round faces. Each face is decorated with guilloche enamel in a pale blue-green central field, exhibiting a concentric wavy pattern, framed by concentric rings of brighter and darker blue enamel. The set is presented in a black leatherette box with gold tooling, lined internally with cream satin and dark blue velvet. The interior lid of the box is gold embossed with a Royal Warrant crest and accompanying text: “By Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen, Jeweller, C. Collins & Sons Limited, Royal Tunbridge Wells, ” dating the set to post-1952.
