A rectangular high-relief wall plaque, crafted from a light-coloured cast resin or composite material, depicting a detailed architectural facade in a Victorian or Edwardian style. The relief features a brick building with multiple windows, a main entrance accessed by steps, and small figures of people on the sidewalk and steps. Darker tones are applied to highlight architectural elements like brickwork, roofing, and shadows, giving the piece a commemorative or decorative aesthetic. Inscribed below the relief on the front is the English text: “The birthplace of Charles Dickens No 387 Commercial Road Landport”. The reverse side faintly bears “December 1990” and a partially legible “Mouseh___ Copyright” mark. A braided string is attached at the top for hanging. This piece is executed in a style similar to early 20th-century Ivorex plaques. 15cm
