A collection of six pieces of vintage sports-related print ephemera, predominantly from the mid-20th century, with one item dating to 1920. The collection comprises: a 1920 A.A.A. Championships poster for Stamford Bridge featuring a male athlete; a 1958-59 “LA REVUE SPORTIVE du Forum SPORTS MAGAZINE” cover, marking its “CINQUANTENAIRE – GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY” and depicting hockey player “Boom-Boom Geoffrion”; a “WORLD SPORTS MAGAZINE” cover from September 1956 featuring swimmer Judy Grinham; two distinct advertisements, one for “Lillywhites” “Keep-fit Equipment” and another for “BEMAX” stabilized wheat germ featuring stylized footballers; and a “Gymphlex” advertisement for “TRACKSUITS & WINDCHEATERS” by Grahame Gardner Ltd. All items are print media on paper, individually presented within white mats or protective plastic sleeves.
