An Arthur Osborne Ivorex Plaque depicting ‘Sam Weller’. This oval, low-relief plaque is crafted from molded resin or a similar composite material, consistent with Ivorex production. It features a male figure, identified by the inscription “Sam Weller” at the bottom, dressed in 19th-century style attire. The figure is shown in a detailed interior scene, attending to a boot or shoe with one foot propped on a small stool. The plaque has a creamy off-white base with selective darker brown and blue patination, enhancing details and creating depth in an illustrative, period-specific decorative style. Two small holes are visible on the reverse, indicating it was designed for hanging. 12.5cm
