An Ivorex wall plaque by Arthur Wooden for Wessex, depicting ‘The West Front Wells Cathedral’. This rectangular, slightly arched decorative plaque is cast from a composite material, likely resin or plaster, and features a sepia-toned, possibly hand-painted, surface. The raised relief depicts a Gothic architectural facade. The reverse side is marked “Wessex”, “COPYRIGHT IN ALL COUNTRIES”, “ARTHUR WOODEN”, and “MADE IN ENGLAND”. A simple brown cord is attached at the top for hanging. 8.5cm
