A Rare Ivorex Plaque by Osborne & Co. This rectangular wall plaque features an arched top and a painted, multi-colour relief depicting a detailed cityscape overlooking a harbour with numerous boats. The foreground prominently displays a quay or waterfront structure. The scene is identified as ‘St Peter Port. Guernsey.’ The plaque is constructed from a light-coloured material, likely ceramic, plaster, or a composite resin, with a textured finish. The reverse side is unglazed or unpainted and shows impressed text identifying the piece as ‘IVOREX, ‘ manufactured by ‘OSBORNE & CO. WRIGHТ’ (or ‘WIGHT’), and states ‘MADE IN ENGLAND.’ A simple cord is attached for hanging. 13×19.5cm
