A diverse collection comprising British pre-decimal coinage and banknotes, alongside a group of French and other foreign coins. The British pre-decimal coinage includes approximately ten copper or bronze coins housed in a clear plastic sleeve, identified by an accompanying note listing “OLD (pre-decimal) money” and denominations such as “1d.”, “halfpenny, ” “penny, ” and “3d.” Additionally, three loose copper/bronze coins are present, one specifically labeled “Shave halfpenny.” The collection also features two circulated paper “BANK OF ENGLAND Ten shillings” banknotes, both depicting Queen Elizabeth II and bearing serial numbers A74N 227078 and C90N 571447. A group of four French coins is taped to a cardboard strip, consisting of two silver-toned and two brass/bronze pieces, with visible denominations of “20 CENTIMES” and “10 CENTIMES.” Finally, three additional loose coins are included: two silver-toned examples, one displaying a “10” and a lion design, and a darker metal coin with a crowned effigy.
