A Chinese Boxwood carved pumpkin teapot sculpture, naturalistically shaped to resemble a pumpkin or gourd. The body is rounded and distinctly lobed, featuring extensive relief carving of intertwining leaves and vines that wrap around its circumference. The integrated lid mirrors the lobed design and is surmounted by a stem-like finial, while the spout is organically formed as a curling leaf or vine. A C-shaped handle, also appearing to be part of the organic vine motif, is attached to the side. The medium-brown wood exhibits a visible grain and a polished or patinated surface. No discernible text, signatures, or other markings are visible on any of the exposed surfaces.
