An Osborne Ivorex Charles Dickens Wall Plaque. This oval, molded relief plaque depicts a seated figure of Charles Dickens, identified by the inscribed text at the bottom. The man is rendered in a naturalistic style, suggestive of the Victorian era, within a study setting featuring bookshelves and a desk. The plaque is executed with a multi-toned finish in shades of cream and brown. It is constructed from a composite material, possibly resin or plaster, and fitted with a braided string for hanging. 12.5cm
