A collection of approximately ten turned wooden antique lacemaking bobbins, varying in form and crafted from light to medium-toned wood. Designs include slender, grooved shafts and more rounded or teardrop-shaped bodies. Several examples are embellished with clusters of small, round beads in blue, light blue, yellow/green, and clear/purple hues at one end. Many retain remnants of lacemaking thread in white, cream, or light brown, wound around their necks, and some groupings are secured with small rubber bands. No discernible text or manufacturer’s markings are present.
