A rare rectangular relief wall plaque, produced by B. Osborne & Co Ltd, depicting the Bishop Lighthouse amidst waves. Crafted from “Ivorex” material, likely a resin or plaster composite, the plaque features a hand-painted finish in a nautical style, utilizing yellowish-cream, grey, brown, and blue tones. The front is inscribed “Bishop Lighthouse, ” while the lower edge bears the markings “Copyright 1956 B. Osborne & Co Ltd made in England.” The reverse is stamped “IVOREX” and “MADE IN ENGLAND, ” and retains a “£2.69” price sticker. The plaque is fitted with a twisted cord for hanging. It is accompanied by its original cardboard box, which includes cleaning instructions for “Ivorex” plaques and identifies the item as “Bishop Lighthouse.” 17cm
