A large format colour lithographic advertising poster for “Le Cyclone Cycle Sans Chaine” by Milders Fils. Dating from the late 19th or early 20th century Belle Époque period, the poster depicts a well-dressed man in a blue uniform and cap, with a prominent mustache, standing proudly next to a “chainless” safety bicycle against a serene landscape background. Prominent text includes “LE CYCLONE CYCLE SANS CHAINE” at the top, advertising the product, and “MILDERS FILS” as the company, with further details like “MAGASINS CONSTRUCTEURS USINES” and addresses: “81, Rue Jouffroy Quai Jemmapes, PARIS.” The printer, “Sté des IMP.
