Buyer's premium:

A small, globular porcelain teapot, decorated in the Imari style with polychrome enamels and extensive gilding. The body features alternating panels depicting standing figures in blue robes on red and green grounds, alongside intricate floral motifs, all heavily outlined. The removable lid, C-scroll handle, and spout are similarly adorned. A blue underglaze mark resembling a stylized leaf is present on the underside of the teapot. The teapot rests upon a separate, dark carved wooden stand featuring traditional scrollwork. Aged staples have been used from a previous repair and their are several nicks and chips around the edge of the lid. See pictures. 11.5cm
